At our "All In A Day's Work" event, as well as passenger trains running on both of our demonstration lines, visiting loco Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST no 1931 will be shunting around the engine shed, and our 6 ton steam crane will be in operation in front of the carriage shed.

There will also be hourly tours of the locomotive workshop, as well as tours of both Radstock and Frome signalboxes throughout the day.

The civil engineers yard, between Oxford Road and the Transfer shed, will show how railway infrastructure is installed and maintained, and on Saturday only there will be an "open house" all day in Collett Super Saloon "Prince of Wales" in front of the carriage shed.

Please see the attached PDF for more details.

And the "Black Python" real ale bar will be open. The bar is named after the Python, used by the heavy freight group as a mess van, it was for many years painted black, this first done by BR when in use as a mess van. The bar can be found near the turntable.
