    If you are really sad, like me, and read down the FB page, you discover that this Glamping site has a helicopter , buses etc.
    Looks like however that there is no planning permission as of yet.

    I don't think you need planning permission to park a vehicle.

    That is what the home owners at Hinksey thought when the sidings for the virtual quarry were relaid. They were very miffed to discover that grandfather rights applied and once operational land always operational land.. Depending on history it might not need permission

    they should have got thhe 4 VOP coaches,and billed it as the ride from hell, Recreate those horrible commuting experiences packed in like sardines, share the arm pit odour of the man next to you, endure the drafty doors, the terrible ride anyone got Alton towers phone number ?

    yeah, but they aren't going to turn a wheel and no doubt in a few years they'll be unfit for further use and replaced. I can't see this place being much more than a scrapyard in years to come unless it can generate enough cash to continually replace the vehicles.

    Perhaps that's the idea. Didn't some of the "metal fairies," who were such a problem to heritage railways when the scrap price was high, turn out to be based in Ireland?;)

    I don't think there can be much profit in it if so, the Boeing was moved by sea from Shannon in a huge operation, there must be millions being invested.

    Part of the plane move was crowd funded.......the project is being run by an undertaker...........
    I suppose when it opens in Summer 2017, punters will be die ing to get a Glamp.
