    The run round must have taken longer than the trip.

    Its a glimpse of what could have been, if EE made a better job of selling overseas, the US in particular.

    Does anyone have a photo of the triple header + banker at the Bluebell Giants of Steam Gala 2010? It was the last train of the day 30777 and 34059 double heading the final round trip, while waiting at Horsted Keynes on the down run to Sheffield Park 672 Fenchurch was added to the front (it had been running brake van rides) and 592 worked SP-HK on its last trip and was then added to the north end. A thoroughly daft combination but it was unscheduled, it was dark and there was next to no one around and it's a memory I'll treasure forever.
