    Not really but whatever your friends have told you WPR 15 isn't just restricted to 4 coaches due to it's strength. i have no doubt it would take 5 however it wouldn't keep time, nor would it manage a full diagram on it's current coal capacity, Greedy bars have been fitted as some crews have fallen short on coal with 4 coaches. also your Comment on it "having plenty left" whist it is driven in full first valve and notch 3. is true but the boiler doesn't keep up with the steam/water consumption whilst been driven for 4 miles on a ruling gradient of approx 1 in 90 if she is driven any harder. simple as...

Perhaps not practical to give it that much all the time (not least for coal consumption issues!) but it seems to be steaming ok there, "simple as"?
