    Last night, 28th July 2024, the East Somerset Railway suffered a break-in and a substantial theft on P-Way material from Cranmore.
    Items removed included a substantial quantity of rail chairs, fishplates, bolts and other metal components.
    The theft involved removing a substantial secured gate and a large vehicle was used.
    I would urge everyone to be vigilant and to please report any items being offered for sale.
