    I've never been to a gala with so many "normals". It would seem that "legends" attract them. I'm sick of being asked whether I'm a train spotter. As long as the railway's making money, I guess.

    I’ve never been to a gala where everyone gets shouted at on the station at bury to move six foot from the platform edge as a train is approaching at 5mph and has a gobby security guard thinking he’s the dogs ******** really pissed me off and put me off going again

    Was the same at Ramsbottom. Not sure whether it was because the platform was quite slippy due to the weather.
