    2016 BRANCH LINE WEEKEND

    Saturday – Monday May Bank Holiday Weekend 2016 – 30th April, 1st & 2nd May

We expect the event will feature a variety of trains and locomotives in traffic. We have GWR 0-6-2T 5643, RSH 0-6-0ST 7086, Beatrice and 37294 in service for the gala.

Trains will depart from Embsay and Bolton Abbey stations every 30 minutes. Your tickets (which can be purchased in advance, online) allow unlimited travel on the day in question on all passenger services.

    Adults: £15
    Children: £5
    Platform Tickets: £5

We are offering the opportunity to travel in the Guard’s van on the goods train over the course of the gala – £5 supplement for a single journey.

We will have a licensed bar serving a range from a cask ales, bottles of real ale from a local brewery, wine, cider and kids drinks. This will be at Embsay in the grey box van at the top of Platform 1.

The Hambleton Valley Miniature Railway at Bolton Abbey is also playing host to steam services again too!
