    Not strictly 'Preservation', but as one of the few loco-hauled services on the modern railways it is a shame to see W&S closing down at the end of the week. The Chairman, Adrian Shooter stated that this is due to the economic downturn.

    Hopefully the stock will find some employment at sister company Chiltern. The coaches were probably the nicest Mk3's on the network.
