Hmm interesting as I saw something (on opentrain times maps) with 0znn headcode leave Kings Cross immediately after FS, so if it did fail they fixed it or dragged it out the way fast

Bitterly disappointed to miss paying my respects to the great man. Waiting patiently with others On Ulleskelf station only for her to take the direct ECML route to Colton junction.

A day that started at 60103's spiritual home of Kings Cross and ended at her birthplace in Doncaster, but this shot at Sheep Walk Crossing, Biggleswade is my pick of the day, despite (as Mr Wadley pointed out) the sudden downpour! A very fitting send off for Mr Pegler, and I'm sure he's very proud of the ''Old Girl'' for today's performance. DSC_2718 (2).JPG

I took it with a pinch of salt.

There was indeed mention of "taking a short cut" to make up lost time as we came into York - so that's what happened?

    Nice one.
That’s just up the road from me!
Can’t believe I’ve never tried to film there.

I have never been there before - saw the possibility on google maps, but as I couldn't tell the date of any online images I had no way to know if trees had grown up etc. So I got there really early as I had 2 other options to explore if it hadn't looked good - the plan backfired a bit though as it was so dark when I arrived I couldn't see the viaduct. Got to see the sunrise only 40mins before Scotsman came along ;)

Did anyone get footage of the moment when his ashes were committed? (from the outside, I mean). None of the YouTube clips seem to show it.
