Is it necessary to have a 1 or 2 day rover ticket in order to buy a lineside pass?
Does one have to be over 60 or over 65 to qualify as a senior on the CVR?
    Thanks,

No, but if I remember from last year a discount was offered if you had purchased a Rover. Shall chase that one up for you unless Chris knows otherwise?

Senior is from 60+, but you have highlighted that this isn't on the website nor in the leaflet. I only found it on the NSRC Membership Form!

As Shown elsewhere on this forum, work on the installation of the Run-Round Loop is progressing at Ipstones.

Ground Frame has been installed/commisioned by a Gang from S&T + MPD.
PWay have been busy installing the Loop.
The South Point is to be installed shortly (not sure who is incharge of this mind)
Ipstones Station is still being looked at for re-opening at a later date, but it's too much work for such a small gang of volunteers to complete in addition to the Loop.

The Gala will be the first use of the Loop for public services since it was taken out in the 40s(?) I think.

Beyer Peacock 1827 was out on test runs on Saturday completing 20 miles with no issues, 1827 will be on driver for £5 at the gala and may also make a couple of trips to Consall during the gala to transfer the train staff.

34007 arrives tomorrow morning and 93 will arrive on Wednesday morning.

    Regards

    Chris

Is an additional fare payable to travel in the railmotor, or are the tickets for it to assist in controlling numbers?

    thanks

Both Pete, there will be a £5 supplement to travel on the SRM.

This is valid for an 8 mile round trip when offers more mileage for the money than some other railways were offering
