    13 hours of rain with not much wind to dry it has just ended in mid-Kent, and from the rainfall radar also across what seems to be a large swathe of SE England.

    Just under 22 m in my rain gauges, so not quite an inch in old money.

    Maybe the Southern Region will join the others in moving from Black to Red later this week.

    Not that anyone's interested I'm sure, but it's ratted it down this afternoon and evening up here in Bury. All my water butts are full to overflowing.
