    Don't do it Don.

Stick with 34092. We had two runs with that on 4th April 1964. Woking - Waterloo, then Waterloo -Woking. My only runs with it.

Very good write up in double page spread, but say it quietly, it's in the Mail so it must be rubbish.

    Not my video

but it appears the A3 was paired with the 31 again today, not 5407, for air supply.

It'll all become clear later on Steve, preferably 31 failed than the A3 though.

Looks like 45407 has been fixed now, so I guess it will replace the 31.

60103 going well up to Heywood, with the diesel only taking its weight. Lineside absolutely manic.

Thanks for getting lineside on a grey day in Lancashire Phil. Some great video of 103 captured there, caught the sound of 103 perfectly on the climb to Heywood, a perfect beat shows that I.R. certainly put the "buttons" in the right place when he set the valves - marvelous!! Many thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

    Alan

What a difference a day makes; today's first departure from Rawtenstall running 70 minutes late due to problems with 45407 hence use of 31466 as "translator" vehicle for brakes.
