45407 now leading 60103 back towards Bury on the 1450 ex Rawtenstall, passed summerseat 1640 approx 90 down.

(45407 was also leading 60103 up to Rawtenstall also so they switched to have 45407 leading both ways as well as running round at Rawtenstall )

13065 was running with the 31 inside, but left it at the back from Rawtenstall.

34092 looked like it was trying to steal the show with its golden arrow regalia !

Just got some footage of dangerous drone use on the viaduct, just b4 45407 appeared this drone flew across the viaduct, hovered in the 4ft and flew back along the viaduct as the loco headed towards it. Drone then hovered in the air above it as it passed.

I watched the video and thought Dawn sounds like Jane Horrocks, not realising that Horrocks is from Rawtenstall

At the Puffing Billy railway in Australia I was talking to a retired couple who were running the shop at Lakeside. After a while I said: "You're not from round here, I would say Bolton". "Blackburn actually" came the reply. Well it wasn't bad at 12,000 miles range!:)

Sounds pretty crisp to me. Obviously not being worked hard, as we would expect.

Do we have an idea how many bogies for the loaded test runs? 10?

So, after the debate under "Summerseat Flooding" where a few members seemed to want to excuse it on the grounds that it was local lad on a lightly-used low speed line, we have hordes on the track to see Flying Scotsman. ELR needs to get a grip or Rocket and Huskisson will return as Scotsman and Ramsbottom Lad.

One is a trespasser; two is a horde.

    Makes 3 an exaggeration.

I've been up and down the ELR today and have only seen 1 person wrong side, even that was arguable. The drone on the viaduct however was just plane stupid. Hovered right in the path of the oncoming train, will post later.
Only consolation would be that it was 45407 that was in his sites, not the expected 60103.

I was at Townsend Fold this afternoon when a woman and two blokes with dogs on leads came walking up the line. They got as far as the 'box, then turned round and walked back towards Ewood Bridge.
