I can't see any times from York NRM either... cutting it a bit fine, or not releasing times due to trespass risk?

 

I suspect the latter: I've seen a lot of movements of what would appear to be IEP stock through Peterborough, but no FS.

 

I was told today by someone who has a casual interset in steam that he saw FS on the North London line on Monday or Tuesday this week. Maybe she’s already at Southall.

 

Might have been last Friday when came down from the NVR for the York trip

Path for FS move to Norwich this morning

 

'Flying Scotsman', seen on yesterday's 'The Cathedrals Express' from Norwich to London, at Baldock, Hitchin and Kings Cross.

 

Scotsman doesn't appear to have any further work between now and Christmas . Could someone please tell me whether it will be staying at Southall or returning to York during this time ?

 

This is only an assumption on my part but as last weekends one way trip to York was to return FS there (before the postponed SD trips this weekend had to be run) I would expect it to go back to York.

 

Scotsman returned to York this afternoon on 5Z60 apparently, so assume it will be at NRM until the new year .

 

Send her up to Edinburgh and we can get some Santa specials on the go down the Borders...
