    Thxs for your comments

Some of my father better pictures on the S&C are still to be uploaded are at present being worked upon and some are apparently being used next month at the Hellifield station cafe slide shows (thinks its Janurary 11th @ 8-00pm but dont quote me on it. No doubt someone will post the correct date and time... and you can always enquire at the station cafe for more details)

    Hi Guys

Has any forum member/fotopic user tried the Google AdSense feature ? Does it actually work safely ? Does it actually pay out ???????

My Coppermine gallery - which was built up over several years - has gone t*ts up, and after several attempts to repair it, I'm coming to the conclusion that it's terminal.

I've signed up to Fotopic and experimented by adding some pix from the 7812 Charter at the SVR last week. I'm well impressed by the ease and speed of uploading and I think I shall be adding more.

I don't think you'll be able to retire on any proceeds. From what others have told me annual revenue is in the pennies, not pounds - and you have to have earned a certain amount before you can collect. I've visited loads of Fotopic sites since Fotopic introduced AdSense and have never once clicked an advert.

Fotopic Premium users have the option to display these ads and collect any revenue but personally I don't want visitors to my site being forced to look at advertising, particularly advertising I have no control over, it was just one of the reasons I decided to 'go Premium' in the first place. But thats just my own personal view and I understand others may differ.
