You can camp in the field onsite at Caverswall and then enjoy the fantastic buffet and bar onsite, see you there!

One of my favourites, and I have fond memories of no.19 working the first services on the Bodmin line in preservation. Although, as a Cornish resident I miss her, it is good to see her being equally appreciated elsewhere in the country. Another entry in my diary!

Nice to say hello the other day - If you stay over on Sat for a shandy I will introduce you to the team. I should imagine that the "Geordies" from Tanfield will be around in large numbers - await emails telling me that they are "Macams"....

Regarding ticket prices they are :-

Adults £14.00, Two day ticket £25.00.

Other stuff -if occurs to me that with three Bagnell's in steam and a very fine fourth on display there may be a photo to had at some point.

Rest assured there'll be the usual contingent from Tanfield, both from Tyneside and Wearside.

Looking forward to seeing the pair of 'Hawthorns in drag' together.

Hope you've stocked the bar well!

Dubs spotted last Friday morning, Allegedly trying to rid itself of its L-plates and stabilisers so I was told...

Inspiration's photo shows Dubs about to lift a six ton test load for the crane inspector on Friday. As you would imagine for a restoration of this quality the test was passed and the crane is now fully certified to lift six tons. The origanal Six ton safe working load plates will now be fitted, as will the Dubs pattent plates to the hoisting engine.

No19 landed tonight, looks very well next to 2842.

Now all tucked up inside the shed.

Looking forward to this one! Can anyone advise on the loco pairing's please? One assumes Bellerophon will need to work as part of a double-header having seen it with much shorter rakes at the October gala - will this mean one of the Bagnall's working solo to allow enough diagram's? :)

To add to the questions...where is the nearest open curry house these days? The good one in Blythe Bridge was closed last time I went past.

Also will there be an line freight first and last thing on Saturday? Thanks in advance!

Will be staying on Friday night for a beer if anyone else is about. Lets hope for a good one.

Line freight top and tailed departs Caverswall at 9.10am and last one is back after the big freight up the bank. Plenty of people around Friday as usual.
Only pairing is Bellerophon and 2842 so No19 is on her own and will be banked as required.
A late addition is that Wimblebury may be in steam but restricted to Caverswall Yard due to the mechanical issues requiring attention.
Not sure about curry houses Hunslets Finest, perhaps someone else can answer that!
