Just got my DVD today, great footage although naration at times is intrusive. Some nice parrell running and double headers, also a very nice piece of footage of when 45110 was banked by 80079 over Lickley from were the Standard 4 came off!!!

Excellent footage, terrible commentary. Did they use a Dalek? :smt002

I thought that the DVD was pretty good for the price (remember it didn't actually come with the mag - you had to send away for it and pay £1.95). Some unusual shots and interesting combinations. Also a really broad spectrum (including the Class 20 on the Steam on the Met shots). I had no problems with the commentry.

I liked the coverage a lot, so much variety. But the narrator sounded as though he was going to doze off :smt015 at any point. He also seemed to have trouble remebering what he was going to say next at some places. Ok it's not easy and must be a nervous experience but he could of sounded more enthusiastic.
