    I agree 100% that customer service is most important but dressing in period uniform does not stop them from carrying out their duties. I'd wager that the general public rather like staff dressed up like Sid Perks and his ilk.

    Not to my taste either but there is also a set of restored authentic SE vehicles which are now enhanced by air brakes absent in SE days.
