    After travelling on the panniers to Leicester,I stopped off for the gala.

    A Jinty/8F/O4 on a misty cool day. Atmospheric with lots happening. Excellent--many thanks to the volunteers who were v friendly.

    Managed to see the TPO leave before a brisk walk to the rival Midland station!

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Lovely stations on that line, but every time I've visited (3 times), it's been a diesel gala! Must check my diary for next steam gala.
