Well there is only three remaining to choose from predicting it will be either 46521 or 92214 - 68067 tends to not be rostered for such work much.

The e-tickets for the event arrived today and the weather looks as though it is going to continue being good through the weekend as well...

A few from a very warm Leicestershire yesterday.........

Was fairly busy most of the time, though passenger numbers on the first DMU run of the day (which was actually the one with the longest run, as it went all the way through to Leicester North) were rather sparse. An added bonus was that the DMU buffet was open, with drink orders taken at seat, and an at-seat service of cold drinks was even available on the "open" stock rake, though that apparently won't be the case today.

The alternate seating bays arrangement in the open coaches for smaller groups than an entire compartment appeared to be working well and rather different to the usual free-for-all bunfight at normal GCR Galas!

Nice to actually get back to attending an event like this again.

I was at a family celebration in Quorn for the weekend and managed an hour visit to Kinchley Lane, Quite a busy timetable for what was running
    here -
    05/06/2021 - BR Std 5 4-6-0 - 73156 rounding Kinchley lane curve with 2A14 - 11.44 from Loughborough to Leicester North.
