    No, probably not.
I am suprised though that a Hall will still squeeze through the Thames Valley stations after recent gauging problems for GWR locos elsewhere!

If Halls won't fit down the GW mainline that they were built for, there's little hope left. Mind you, they are subject to a severe speed restriction through Culham station...

They can't get into Cornwall any more & that's one of the first areas that they were originally allocated to ](*,)

Good point. Presumably watering & pathing stops aren't a problem either!

Is that a new restriction or only on northbound trains ? 4965 was certainly moving well when I shot this in 2007, but slowed for the northbound return trip.

The restriction applies northbound only, AFAIK. Halls, Castles and Sir Lamiel have slowed to about 20 mph, whilst A4s, the Duchess and Black Fives have all run through at full speed in the past few years.

I see what you mean. A couple of digits need changing.
All we need now is the actual train times.

Should be able to see the Hall south of Oxford after catching Ollie at Wantage Rd (if everything's running to time).

No I do not currently volunteer
Waited just south of Warrington for 30 minutes, no sign, friend also reported that at that time she had not passed Leyland either. I could not wait any longer so no idea of lateness.
