Yes Northgate is where the Jaguar & Citroen dealerships are. Viaduct St ran from Northgate (Entrance to Tesco is in Viaduct St) up to John William St
Osprey, the details on the print are correct

It's got me confused now. I still think the bus is approaching The George, the bus is on John William st. and the street on the right is Viaduct st. but.............we'll all agree, It's Huddersfield and one of their very fine long gone trolley buses.

Brian, if the bus has come on John William St approaching The GEORGE there is only one road junction on that side of the bridge, clearly on the print there are 2

There are only 2 bridges carrying the Railway over roads in Huddersfield town centre, John William St & Northgate, clearly Northgate has the right amount of Junctions, and from this photo even a No.,10 trolleybus

I surrender. I tried to get to Huddersfield yesterday but gave up, the road from Dewsbury is infested with temporary traffic lights and I got fed up with queuing, so I turned round and came back home...........to more temp. traffic lights.
