Honestly this is only on a slightly lower level of "false advertising" as a Spring gala on those dates than when the Mid Hants used to run theirs in early February

This going to sound rich coming from me but A1X, stop whinging!
It's how you want it isn't it? 3 SR engines running on an SR line with SR rolling stock.

The way your banging on, any would have thought they'd booked a Pannier tank!

Isn't A1X's point just a calendar based joke? As in, June isn't really spring just as February isn't? Didn't come across like they were criticising the gala or line-up (which, incidentally, looks great. I've spent the evening working out how I can do this and Epping that weekend rather than picking just one).

True, but still, if that's what they advertised, then I guess it's just a case of "suck it up and deal with it".

    Besides, what does it matter?
They have a visitor and three vintage vehicles, could of advertised it as a Dinosaur Weekend, still be worth attending.
