A note from the editor :

    Dear all,
Just a quick note to advise that this week's edition of Railway Herald
has been published, and forms a commemorative edition following the sad
passing of Brian Morrison last week. It can be downloaded from the
Railway Herald home page, and in view of the memorial nature, we have
made the edition freely available to all, please feel free to pass on.
To those of you who have contributed and helped, my grateful thanks.
Hopefully you will enjoy the read and that the image selection over the
seven decades of Brian's collections will bring back some recollections
of days gone by. To those that have been on the various media visits
over the years, a couple of the images may bring back some (hopefully)
happy memories of colleagues past and present.
To our colleages in the magazine world who may be looking to cover
Brian's passing, please feel free to use excepts from the obituary in
this edition in any coverage. It has been seen and approved by Brian's
family. Should anyone require any images of Brian or from his
photographic collection to go with any editorial pieces, please feel
    free to contact us.
