Having spent all day at Bodiam (as the Responsible Officer - oooh!), I managed in between being responsible to take these:

I am at Tenterden on Monday so will add these another day

Wow! Superb pictures & thanks for sharing them with us - you don't get to see any of it when you're cooking at Tenterden all day!

A few more for anyone following.. and everyone else.. you're all invited really ;)
Last nights 'yard shoot' was good for a first go at dodging shunting trains and access pits in the dark, pleased with most of them, lighting wasn't great but lots of activity for different angles.
Thanks a lot to the organisers for allowing access, finished off a very tiring day in a great way!

These and others now online here:

Splendid work from all at the K&ESR.

    A most impressive long weekend.

For those of you that haven't visited this line, I commend it to you. There's even a fantastic castle to visit at Bodiam, possibly a good selling point for those needing to negotiate with partners and children.

    Just back in Cornwall.

Well run and it is hard to imagine anything 0f railway interest that was not provided. In particular, I appreciated the Early Bird short and mixed trains - these captured the light railway atmosphere. Also, good to see the Ford diesel in action, although she suffered some problems today. The fish and chips special on Saturday was good.
