A team of 8 Kent & East Sussex Railway staff and volunteers are doing a 100 mile pump trolley challenge for Comic Relief on Friday 13th March. It would be lovely if you could make a small donation by clicking on the link below. Thank you!

Some members of the team went out today on our specially liveried pump trolley on a training exercise. The group made it all the way to Bodiam and back as far as Rolvenden.

The breaks are one one side but are very good. The livery is red nose day inspired!

The one I normally go on has brakes both sides, and when I put nearly all my weight on one side ie one foot on the brake and the other in the air and holding on the side handle can stop it fast.

I think this deserves a bounce, it would be great if the event could make over the £1,000 target, currently at £767, with your help railway preservation could make a creditable contribution to many good causes and save lives. Please use the link in the first post if you'd like to make a donation. Thank You.
