    I think that eastern bloc USAs and American USAs are somewhat different engines. so it is unlikely that the mod would fit. I doubt that the gtate area has been increased by more than a few square inches. I think the feeling is that more damage is caused by pouring cold water into the boiler after mortgaging than wear and tear from extra blast.
