Nice to see you again and you took some impressive stuff yourself, pity about the weather for the last two days though. :rain:

We are pleased to announce that the Gala DVD to the event is now available. As printed in the railway's gala booklet the DVD features footage from all three days, all the engines that featured at the event plus bonus footage of the engines at other locations around the UK.

The 61 Minute long DVD features a wide range of trackside, shed and station shots and includes a variety of express, freight, vintage and passenger services.

    The event also:
    - Marked the first gala appearance of LMS 4F No.43924
    - Featured the final gala appearance of LMS 5MT No.45212
    - The first public running of the L&Y 'Club Car' forming part of the L&Y Train.
    - The first gala appearance of the two Southern coaches owned by the Vintage Carriage Trust at Ingrow.

Copies are available from our website, and we're currently in the process of getting copies ready for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and will be available from their shops within the coming weeks.

    DVD trailer available here

So what was the "sudden serious defect" which was certainly fixed in time for 45305 to operate "The Weardale" this weekend (see The Black Cap and Steaming Yorkshire's pictures in the Photography section today).

Great video as ever, Ken, but where is "Harworth"? You start outside the sheds at Haworth. Sorry to be pedantic (as usual).
