I was lucky to have a ride in the Club car all the way from Keighley to Oxenhope - what a dream! It's a brilliant piece of work!

I was the other guy in that coach if it was the Saturday night.

I was in the club car on the Saturday night. I was in the orange jacket leaning out of the window. (I took the jacket off when we started so as not to ruin photos!)

Maybe 1300 could come over for a spell?

Going into the outer limits a bit, I'd love to see the L&Y Radial tank or the Aspinall Saddle Tank running at the KWVR.

OK, maybe I should go and lie down for a bit.

Ahh nice to meet up again, will you be heading to the beer festival?

  5. Well you could always borrow the Aspinall class 27. It was running at the weekend on the East Lancs. I have to say in fine form. Though very similar in appearance to the class 25 of Barton Wright (L&Y 957) the Aspinall has that extra 3585 lbf of tractive effort and it does make a difference. I do agree it would be great to see a L&Y engine pulling the vintage set.

Pictures and Video's of both L&Y957 and L&Y 1300 (LMS 12322) just uploaded to
