I would have thought a branchline weekend would involve very few trains made up of some ancient decrepit rolling stock and the line being eventually closed :)

In an ideal world a pre-grouping gala could be staged if 957, 752, 1054, the Taff tank and the 4F were all in traffic at the same time. Add something like the CR 419 from up north, maybe E4 from down south and the Q6 from the Far East to add a bit of size. Would certainly offer something different and could even be done without a BR logo in sight. Shame it's not really possible at the moment though.

Having said that Worth Valley steam and diesel galas are already great events. The frequent stops and stiff gradients provide plenty of noise.

According to the website it's 90733 both days and 80002 in addition on Sunday. One of the diagrams on Sunday is for the Diner which does not normally carry non dining passengers, but I'm afraid I have no idea which loco will be on which diagram. If a particular locomotive is of interest I suggest ringing Haworth office on 01535 645214, if this is feasible in line with your travelling time, to check before setting out.

    Kind regards
