Just read about this in Steam Railway. I thought that this loco was intended to run on the Glyn Valley when it's reopened or maybe I got that wrong? There aren't too many 2ft 6in lines around so it will be interesting to see where it ends up.

I suspect it will be difficult to find a home for this machine in the UK. She is too small for the W&L and her "weight per foot run" may be too much for the SKLR viaduct, assuming that the latter ever operates again. Whipsnade might be a possibility. Of course it will all depend on need and available money.

Her chimney looks pure Caledonian Railway in profile; a reminder of the period when the Belgian Railways used McIntosh or crypto McIntosh types to run its services. The smokebox door wheel also has a Scottish air about it.
