If Tangers has/had firebox problems, then I'm a bit mystified as to what she is going to Carnforth for................................... she was producing enough clag this morning! :)

The convoy seen passing Carpenders Park, I only just managed to get the shot as the Euston stopper was rolling into the platform at the same time.................

Shame about the box, but hey ho!

The fire on Ollie seems to have been a bit lively for being dragged by a diesel, I understand light steam for lubrication etc but that seemed a little more than that!

When they passed thorugh Manchester Victoria, the formation was 70013 (leading) + support coach + 47245 (rear). I'm guessing that this was so that the whole formation could turn on Miles Platting triangle so that 70013 was the righ way around for the 1T57 re-creation on the ELR (apparently Castleton triangle isn't available at present).

With 45231 going to crewe, pleasant surprise, I would imagine that she be at the head of the North Wales Coast Express on Sunday as 45305 being originally advertised.

    What happened with 9?

45407 made it to Bury as the picture above suggest. Whilst 44871 should still be at Oxenholme.
