God forbid should something happen at the NNR to Ollie. That is the last thing that is needed during this busy summer season.

    Indeed!

Once Ollie heads for Norfolk on Thursday, Southall will be bare.................................................................

Any way didn't 70000 come to grief on the NVR, or am I getting my wires crossed?

Just looked up 70000 Norfolk on youtube, the videos popped up and I can confirm that is where the crime occurred w/70000 as so many people have already stated.

It dropped off the road there briefly - the day after I had driver experience on her, but it was put back on with no damage.

45699 was due to leave York NRM at 11-30 behind 37706 for Carnforth but move now cancelled . A move has now appeared on Realtime showing something leaving York for Carnforth at 11-48 though .

Footage of 45699 solo at High Bentham. Nothing spectacular just one for the record .

Anyone know whether 45231 is doing Carnforth - Southall today? RT is saying "This service only runs when it is required. This warning will disappear if it is activated in the railway computer systems." Thanks.

I wonder what will happen to The Dorset Coast Express tomorrow then? Not cancelled as of yet.

I've just looked on Real Times and the below stock move to southall is running at present,

    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P92255/2013/08/27/advanced

Anyone out and about know if she's in the consist?

I'm not having much luck with Rail Touring if it is canned / diesel hauled, just got my refund sorted for the Devionian and now potentially this!

Such is life with mainline steam

Looks suspicious. Max speed of 95mph probably means a diseasel and why does Southall need ECS?

@ Shuffelmann - Totally agree. It is suspicious but I swear I remember reading on here before that it sometimes can be taken with a pinch of salt, as it just shows maximum permitted of the leading loco? or something along those lines.

Also - does anyone on here know what (Q) means on real time. The path for the LE move when viewed on realtime has (Q) in one of the columns? A handy little key would be gratefully recieved

...but 100 minutes non-stop for 75 miles from Crewe to Rugby are not 95 mph timings. The info at top top of RTT pages is not always a true guide as the the type of train (it has already been raised a number of times that it always shows steam movements as diesel - it all depends on what whoever compiles the schedule decides to put in).

...and loco + support coach moves are still classified as ECS even though it's only one coach and it's usual far from empty.
