The Duchess passing the site of Lifford station: http://daviddepperphotography.zenfolio.com/p83391564#h7d83abd0

Appears she was held to time then slightly late around Landor St, fortunate I went for a side on view seeing from others she had that headboard on.

Just heard a chime whistle on the ECML but cannot find out any info apart from a path for 5Z40 at the appointed hour. Anybody know what it was? (Southall-Barrow Hill)

Perhaps in time for some further North.

Edit: Looks like it was probably Tornado heading North for Driver experience days next week.

Posted on Braunton's Facebook page last night (Thursday):

"We're back out on the mainline this Sunday with The Royal Duchy, departing Bristol Temple Meads for Par.

After spending much of the summer in Bristol No. 34046 will be returning to London after this trip..."
