    Wait its nearly autumn. I expect Her Madge's little foray wont run because of leaves on the line. Never mind, she'll get a voucher to travel on another Royal Train on a date she can't do.

    Showed on RT a load of 715 tons !!! Did they have the Royal Train with them or what ?? Anyone know time of dep in the morning ?? And what's the reason for no 9 being the appointed train engine ? (nothing against her, love the engine, but just wondering ;)

    I would imagine no 9 was chosen quite simply because there are currently only three locos who could (60009, 60163 or 70000) and originally she should have been in Scotland and the other two weren't.
