Was looking and sounding superb at Wilpshire, the quartered buffers were a nice touch. Congratulations to all involved at LSL and Crewe.

Is 46100 the first and last of 2015 to return to the main line? Can't think of any others but hope to be corrected.

Wonderful to see 46100 back out on the mainline. Looks and sounds a lot different to when I last saw her at Llangollen a few years back! Hope this is the start of a glittering and trouble-free ticket!

Actual move is http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U50564/2015/12/23/advanced (activated at 7:10 today) rather than the other move which is the regular "Q" path used as required for stock moves.

DSC_10240.jpg 22/12/2015 - Loaded test run of LMS 4-6-0 46100 "Royal Scot" approaching Billington foot crossing. It may have stopped at Wilpshire to sort out the left hand steam cock. It gave me time to pass it and get to Wilpshire ;)

Realtime shows it to be 86 mins early into Crewe for the obvious reason seen below just south of Kenton!
