I'm told that times for 34052's LTR are now on RTT: "2030 fm Crewe to Crewe via Chester, Salop, Telford, Bushbury and Stafford." Not had time to go looking for them myself yet...

Anyone know why the 5Z45 Castelton - Southall LE move for 44871 today (25/4/16) was terminated at Crewe?

What's going on with 44871 ? RTT says it going no further than Crewe ! Is it joining the GB stock movement from Carnforth?

Most likely joining that other path from Carnforth down to Southall

Timings don't indicate the adding of another loco, but I agree that's what's happening.

5Z45, 44871 is shown at Crewe in platform 12, where it will join 5Z44 the stock ex Carnforth and will travel forward as 5Z44.

Train is now showing as 5Z44 in platform 12 on the indicator board.

Is there a thread somewhere that explains a lot of the terminology used here? Rather than ask questions that have been asked a thousand times by other vaguley bewildered newcomers?

Does this mean the set is going to be a coach light tomorrow then? Interestingly the path seems to be to Southall LSL and not Southall WCRC?
