Heck the GB too? That's still a over a month away. Imagine that would put the two Whitby jobs out too?

60163's move postponed due to bridge strike:
A road vehicle has collided with a bridge at Castleton Moor.
Network Rail have assessed the bridge and due to the severity of the damage, trains are unable to run between Battersby and Whitby.
We anticipate disruption will continue until the end of service on Tuesday 13 March.

According to UK steam, 60163's move from grosmont to kidderminster has been cancelled and will now transfer between the 2 places by road instead.

45231 raises the echoes as she accelerates in fine style away from the site of the former Junction for the line to Tongham between Farnham and Aldershot. She has a wonderful crisp bark! LRG_DSC00101.JPG

Looking at the photo above appears from the pipes below the buffer beam that she now has air braking capacity.

What would the yellow relate to?

Showing my ignorance maybe, but a pleasing development if DBC are doing vac moves now?

If I remember correctly 45231 was fitted with the twin pipes and brake valve but no pump or reservoirs. This was to enable it to work an air braked train when paired with another loco able to supply air.
Not heard the pump was yet been fitted during its recent 'intermediate' at Crewe.
As said, welcome development if DBS will undertake vac stock work now too, potentially particularly beneficial to VT / GWS if so.
