At that notice, I imagine it was a case of anyone who was available, I would imagine that WCR have a bigger pool of steam passed drivers who sign Shap?

Now showing as "At platform" at Carlisle. Fingers crossed, because it was an automatic activation two hours before the due departure.

    Edit: Just left, 58 late.

With these movements they can run early or late. Some patience is required.

No it has to go tender 1st up the esk valley line to battersby station (cos the old line from battersby to picton jct via stoksley shut in 1954 to passengers and 1968 to all traffic) run round the support coach on battersby loop and boiler 1st to middlesbough and onwards to joppa edinburgh

According to R.T.T. the B1 made it to joppa edinburgh anyhow 9 mins early by the look of the times. And besides if the 185 was giving 1264 a shove which i seriously dont think so the B1 and D.M.U. dont have the same couplings. anyone else on nat pres can confirm if steamie boxes pic from his friend is computer animated trick photography or truth?

B1 wheels are not in line with the track and front wheels of the B1 appear this side of the track if you zoom in
