It seems clear enough. It is now shown on RTT as a "Runs as Required" path, which might be activated or cancelled by the operator at any time. Nobody's at fault.
Frequently happens: I hoped to see a freight this morning which was changed to cancelled on RTT at about scheduled time of departure. Nobody's making anything up.
Thanks to RailAdvent, Railway Herald, this forum etc for trying to keep us informed.

Are you sure? I can't see anything in RTT now for the Hellifield circuit on 15/05/21. There is 5Z42 Carnforth to York, but that is something different entirely.

It seems I quoted the wrong post this morning, I was meant to quote the one for the 15th, not today. Whoops

Re 60103 loaded test, a photo of it in steam at Carnforth has appeared on the net with quotes "Ready to go" and "Test run next week".

Ready to depart Carnforth with only one coach.

The word at Carnforth was that Network rail had removed the timings for the test run to deter trespassers.

I've said it before, I'll say it again---replace the '3' with a '6', replace 'Scotsman' with 'Fox'.
We'll still have a beautiful, well maintained, main line running A3 and I think 95% of the trespass problem will go away.;) (Runs for cover!)

Why has it got N0 9’s support coach behind it?

Really not such a crazy idea apart from the bemusement that some who paid to ride behind her would express. She looks like any old 1960's A3 so might as well take a turn at 'representing' a few.
Unfortunately i am one of the many who can only really equate Flying Scotsman with LNER/Pegler/Hornby trainset apple green, 4472, polished smokebox bands, no smoke deflectors etc... but that would probably see even more loony phone waving muggles trespassing all over the place

That's the problem, I think her name pays her way.
'Joe Public' who ride behind her have paid to ride behind "The Flying Scotsman, the most famous 'train' (!) in the world"
    It's a balancing act.

    Honestly... rightly so.

For views/ratings the press jump on this. Rail Advent are notorious for posting controversial articles that official groups are not supportive of, and I had seen the local Lancaster paper share the article RA posted encouraging people to see FS at Lancaster during its “long stop”. I know restrictions are easing somewhat but I still don’t think encouraging masses to loiter at stations should be promoted.

Gloomy overcast conditions for A3 class No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman' as it works 5M50 away from Clapham during its test run with Mick Rawling driving and
    Fraser Burrell on the shovel
