Is it me or am I being a bit picky but it looks like it could have had a bit of spit and polish. 71000, 70000, sent south recently were positively glowing..............

There seems to be some confusion on 46201,s LE move on UKSteam. On LE moves it shows Friday. On Tours it shows early Saturday?

The tour starts from Tyseley so its the train timings, not the stock move. OK so that's a bit picky, sorry..

Correction: I'm afraid the details originally published at uksteam.info were incorrect. 6024 now moves WSR to Didcot on Tue 05-April (provisionally). This move may possibly be double headed with 70000 enroute to Southall.

anyone out for the K1 move Wednesday, just wondering if there's going to be some text updates on 'railtour live', we'll be able to see it on the WCML Webcam on its way to preston, but after that it'll be down to alternatives. these L Emoves can be unpredictable!

Oh yes, well 61994 unless I'm mistaken, and the weather looks set to brighten up by 10am, well in the north west according to the BBC weather page, fingers crossed. thanks Mark, I've found 3 B1's,1306, 61264and 61306.
an ex fireman was telling me it might be a K2, then there's 62005, I'll stick to the numbers in future, not that that will cancel any confusion.

1306 & 61306 are one and the same, just different LNER and BR numbers, no K2's made it, only 62005 (K1) and 61994 (K4) exist today.

    Hi Leon,
Hoping to get to Acton Bridge tomorrow morning and plan to text RailtoursLive if I do. So at least you'll know she's on her way. PM me your number if you want a personal text as well.

Well thanks David, I'll let that forgetful ex fireman know what's what, including t'other bloke that told me B1 in the first place, cheers, I never bothered with numbers or classes when I was a lad, for the now obvious reason.

Through Winsford at 10.34, where I was informed by the lady from the ticket office that London Midland now operate a ban on tripods on their stations. Does using one leg ar a monopod consitute the same hazard? anyway that's what I did. You will notice from the shot down the platform, the number of passengers who would have been endangered by my actions.
