Quality vids there Phil. Coach looks a bit odd almost seems to be in two halves. Sure it does the job though. Pete

I was wondering about that but it seemed a continuous leak, more like steam chest tap...

Good to hear that she is nearly back at Southall. Unfortunately I'm on day's so I'm not out at Taplow again. However I'm commuting past Southall later, so I'll let people know if she's safely back.

Looking forward to Sunday's run. Will be at Taplow again, interestingly it's on the Down Main looking at UKSteam.

Just to let people know who plan on photographing her from Platform 1 which is the Down Main platform. The gate is locked all the time now, so you have no access.

Anyway the next time I'll be behind her on her run to Cardiff! Can't blooming wait for that.

Yeah, noticed she's booked for the main, should look good through Twyford. usually have a big problem with the sun at Twyford ( as most places in the morning on this line) but with this weather, probably don't need to worry !!! With no sun, might try somewhere new, ie, the car park at Twyford on the Henley side.....cue a couple of Turbos on both relief lines and a London bound HST !!!!! IT WOULD NOT SURPRISE ME . ok, stay optimistic.

I've had it before at Ruscombe Junction in the fields closest the fasts before, videoing Nunney Castle years ago....all going well....then the Cartic freight set goes past...totally buggered up the last bit of the shot.

That's the problem with this line is the train frequencies as they seem to overlap in the most awkward of places, i.e. Stations.

I hope you don't get bowled over on Sunday

I'm guessing that Oliver Cromwell will leave Carnforth before Tangmere next week. Both Pacifics have there next trips out of London in Early March. Are the chances of a ferry move together a possibility?

Here’s a different movement. LOE – Light Of Engine. Last night a tender (GWR green) on the back of a low-loader on the Stratford Road in Shirley (Solihull) heading south. Didn’t see an accompanying loco though. Any ideas what it might have been?
Out of interest how many movements are carried out by road in comparison with movements on the tracks?
    Alan.

4936 Kinlet Hall off to the North Norfolk possibly? Did it spend winter at Tyseley?

(Was this the tender you saw?)

EDIT: Just realised I've answered a question with three more. sorry!

EDIT 2: Also thats not strictly a GWR green tender unless this is what you meant.

Thanks Campainr, that could have been the one. It did have that logo on the tender and not Great Western writ large. Sorry for the inaccuracy on the colour, it was the nearest I could think of at the time and I was travelling in the other direction and it was dark. (Excuses, excuses!!)
    Alan.
