No idea but it is meant to be a guest at the GCR'S winter gala though.

I read a post on here somewhere that stated that leander was going somewhere else first, before the GCR, but cant find it now, read it just a couple of days ago.

found it on the works, doh! its on its way to Ilford for tyre turning on the back of a low loader, although on here someone spotted it at J16 M6 at 7am, then presumably, on to the GCR.

There is no way that from 7am this morning Leander could make Crewe-Ilford(have tyres turned) and arrive at GCR by today/tomorrow snow or no snow.

Saw it at J21A of the M1 on Friday 8/1/10 at about 22:40, so obviously touched down at Quorn late that night. I've read elsewhere that the rods are off which I presume is consistent with having had its tyres turned.

Leander will be based at the Great Central Railway for around three months.
