    Little Giant to Gigantic


    The Gigantic Locomotive Locomotive company is pleased to announce working In Partnership with the Ravenglass Railway Museum an exhibition Entitled Little Giant to Gigantic ,

    The Exhibition tells the story of the Bassett Lowke Locomotives built between 1904 and 1913 for pleasure railways and estate railways and has reunited The first Lowke Atlantic Little Giant With Larger classmate Synolda and Bassett Lowke 4-4-4 “Pretender “ Blaclovesley the world’s first Petrol mechanical locomotive

    This Reunion is the first time all the related locomotives have been in one place in twenty three years and is itself a milestone which is supporting the Project to recreate”Gigantic “Bassett Lowke sole pacific locomotive originally built for Captain JEP Howey whom later built the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway
