I like them, they may be a bit run down but are very comfy in my opinion, I suppose a nightmare for TTI's though.

Normally everything works smokebox first out of Llangollen - certainly everything did at SSS2. I would expect that the 2MT will also be unloaded facing that way.

All the loco's currently at llan are smokebox first up the hill.

Not sure yet which way the 2MT will face. Do remember we have had it before, so it might be off-loaded, smokebox facing Ruabon, for some alternative photo oppertunities!

Should of used the Subs instead of the Maroons. Ok a bit tatty but they are something different and have a similar capacity to 4x Mk1. Could of put the BG on the end as well given something different from the norm.

Take it the running agreement not been signed hence the no show of the observation saloon? Shame as that would of been nice to see running.

It is a shame that the observation coach hasn't been used since SSS2 and even more so that it won't be used at the autumn gala. I still remember all the rush work that went into getting it ready for the gala.

Still it will be good to see the standard 4 in action after so many years of just seeing it in the shed looking dusty.

Has run, but on private charters only. Hopefully something can be ironed out in the not so distant future.

Would anyone be able to shed some info on how much a 1 day rover will cost, plus how much it will be to travel on the goods train?

    Cheers
