    What a great little gala. The Beerex tonight was fantastic, with some awesome performances at both ends. Nice that they kept the prairie out today even with a broken gasket. I loved the parcels. I've always wanted to see that weird mk1 in action. What's its history?

    Excellent gala by the Llangollen Railway. Attend on the Friday and spent all day at Berwyn. My shot of the day is of 5199 arriving into Berwyn heading back to Llangollen. I've changed the colour to Sepia, but working on this at the moment in Photoshop to try and remove the people & the road sign in the background.

    Hopefully something is printed in public then so leave can be booked sooner rather than later. Not booking days off with no confirmation its running, and to get leave around those dates is hard enough!
