    Hello all,

I have come across a closed van which has got me stumped - at Bury Transport Museum (part of East Lancs Railway). Painted all black, all wood, novents. No numbers except plate on steel chassis solebar which has a genuine LMS plate. Oddly, (1) hinged doors, and (2) end supports are not vertical, but angled abou 20 degrees, meeting at top.

Any ideas as to what this is? Pics to follow (as soon as I've worked out how to attach).

Thanks, from a newbie on this site.

This is a L&YR 10t Van to diagram 73. It was built at Newton Heath in 1922. 149196 would have been a later LMS I/d or possibly due to date built the only I/d it actually ever carried.
