Do you have any idea if either "terrier" will be in use in the latter part of the coming week? (i.e. Friday 19th or Sat 20th)? If so, which one? (I presume it would be on the 11.45 ex-Tenterden)

    Thanks

Generally speaking the terrier would be used on the Victorian set which is normally the 11:45 departure from Tenterden Town. Weekday operation is normally of 1 steam loco with the 5 mark 1 coaches and the 2 car class 108 DMMU whereas at weekends normally of 2 x steam operation, 1 loco on the mark 1 set normally one of the austerities and the second on the Victorian set which is where the terriers would normally be used

I'd like to know as well please!

Would love to get an up to date and working photo of a loco I last saw in steam in September 1962.

Sorry to bother you again, KESR, but do you know if either 32670 or 32678 will be in action on Bank Holiday Monday? Also, what trains it will be working? as the timetable is a bit different for usual.

    Thanks

As I will be spending some time in Pompey this w/e, I'd be grateful for any IoW loco info up to early next week. Promise to spend lots!

Its the island steam show friday through to monday so its W8 & W24. During the last few days W24 has been used on the 4wheel set, brilliant to see it non stop through Havenstreet with the Tourist.

    On Bank Holiday Monday

I believe 65 will be working the MK1 set on the 10:45, 13:00 and 15:15 from Tenterden
I am also on the understanding 32670 will be working with the Vic set on 11:30 13:45 and 16:00 from Tenterden
Plus the DMMU will be working a 12:15 and 14:30 service from Tenterden

    Kesr roster update

Engines in use from today until the 30th will be 1638 (instead of 65) and 32670

32678 is currently in the queue for washout, 23 is being done first
