I've still yet to see me in any pic or video!

I've seen my mate in a clip from steamingyorkshire, and you can just see my arm but that doesn't really count!

Another one from Saturday - an almost perfect pairing (shame the loco isn't in LNER livery).

I was on night shift on Saturday night, so was in my overalls when the shoot was going on. I tried to take a few shots, but the camera decided to run out of juice :-# I got a few on Friday night though, so that wasn't a problem. I'm just sorting through my shots at the moment, I'm working through Friday's stuff at the moment:

I have just uploaded my offering to Youtube, see my signature below for the link.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in putting on such a great show. =D>
You have a great line and it is set in some beautiful countryside.
Had a chat with many people on the lineside and they all were very impressed, and so they should have been!

If you didn't get there last weekend make sure you do this one, wish I could.

As nobody seems to have posted any details of it - here's a picture of Peckett 2000 at Whitwell and Reepham station on Sunday March 1st.

The site's a bit bare at present. The restoration of the station (out of shot to the left) is looking good (what's been done so far) and in the long term it will be quite a nice cameo piece. The next stage apparently is to relay track into the Down platform.

    Dave,

According to their website ( www.whitwellstation.com ) they're only running this coming weekend. Sounds like a good range of beers are available as well. I think the station is open every weekend but with no train rides.

They've also started a fund to purchase their own steam loco.

I hope all that are going this weekend have a great time. I can't make it although I will have ago at Reepham and Whitwell on the Sunday.

    Just a quick question session

The signal box at Holt, it has the blocks showing at the bottom, is this because its not complete or is it Cromer style?
What's the new carriage home exhibit going to look like, should be interesting (plus who is funding this?)

Are there any other plans for the Holt yard (near the signal box), its rather muddy and like a building site at the moment, is it going to be grassed over or something or are extra siding going in.

    thanks

The signal box at Holt has the blocks showing as this was a common M&GN feature. Mr Marriott did like his concrete.

I'm not sure quite what you mean by the new carriage home exhibit. The carriage sheds near Holt aren't accessible to the public and this isn't likely to change due to severe planning restrictions put in place before construction started.

Plans for Holt include a weighbridge in between the station building and goods shed, the site near the signal box will by tidied up but believe me when I say it's a vast improvement on just a few years ago.

I have heard it in joint line and there was a planning notice at the station on Saturday, there are plans to put a replica carriage on site and turn it into a home to show what was done with carriages like 129.
That's all I know and it would be interesting to know more.

    A weighbridge sounds good
