    I've just come across a link to a site which offers free pdf downloads of every Meccano Magazine, which was published from 1916 to 1981.

    Genuinely diverting and interesting stuff. Barely glanced at it but what a fascinating look at a vanished world. Particularly like the page of Railway News (broken down by company in the Grouping era) in some issues. I think I'll look and see how they covered Nationalisation.
